課程概述 |
Course content includes (i) an overview of the current practices and techniques used in the cultivation of medicinal plants; (ii) the effects of environmental and physiological factors on plant growth and synthesis of bioactive constituents; and (iii) methods of medicinal plant applications and their industries; examples on a specific medicinal plant cultivation and its application will be presented. |

課程目標 |
This course is designed to provide students with the basic knowledge on medicinal plant cultivation and applications. This course also allows students to understand the environmental and physiological factors affecting the plant growth and the synthesis of its bioactive constituents, and the conditions essential for the production of quality raw materials and end products. |
